WHO?
❯ Hi, my name is Chris Mundi, I'm a French composer & mixer, dedicated to the work of creating music, and shaping my favorite material: sound!
❯ Since 2009, as a self-taught musician, I've been conducting a perpetual artistic research for new movements in musical practices. To advance in this quest, I study the musical currents of the world and of different eras, as well as psycho-acoustics, and new technologies as the most "Vintage".
❯ In Addition to composing music for images, i also sculpt as a sound editor, sound-designer, mixer (Stereo and 5.1)
MY STUDIO
The "Mundicore Studio" is equipped with a 5.1 (and stereo) surround sound system, calibrated to the 5.1 Dolby Multichannel standard for film music composition, sound editing, sound design, sound effects and mixing for cinemas and platforms (Netflix, Salto, OCS, Youtube, etc.).

❯❯❯ "My film has already been shot and edited, and I'd like you to compose the music for it. How could we go about it?
After viewing the film, we'll have a discussion about its ethical values, the message to be conveyed, the psychology of the characters, the subtext of the film, the hidden intentions, the tone of the film... and many other elements. I'm there as a collaborator with lots of ideas to put forward, discuss and choose the best ones. As soon as we're on the same page... off we go!
❯❯❯ "I have an idea for a film that hasn't been shot yet, should I wait until the post-production phase to contact you?"
No, au contraire ! You can contact me as soon as you've finished writing the script, so that we can discuss it in advance and find the right tone for the film before shooting. It can also be very useful to play the film's music to the actors on the set, to help them find the right emotion and rhythm, and to anticipate the synchronization of certain editing points.
❯❯❯ "I don't know how to send you the sound edit of my film, what's the best solution?"
Editing software (Final Cut, Avid, Premiere, Resolve, etc.) can export in XML and/or OMF, the format containing the most information is XML, which is the one I prefer.
❯❯❯ "I live far away, is it possible to work remotely without complicating work?"
Of course! I talk regularly by webcam, phone or e-mail with the people in charge of the film.
It's very convenient and environmentally friendly!
